19-year-old raced through Flachgau under the influence of drugs

Because he had overtaken several other cars in the dense evening traffic despite the blocking line and had accelerated to up to 141 km / h despite an 80 km / h restriction, a 19-year-old car driver was on the Mattseer on Saturday at around 4:30 p.m. State road in the area of the inn “Kothäusl” stopped by the police.
During the closer inspection of the 19-year-old Austrian driver, symptoms of impairment were found, according to the police. An alcohol test was negative (0.00 mg / l), the drug test carried out was positive for THC. The driver of the car confessed to the officers and stated that he wanted to be “cool” on this risky journey and that he consumed cannabis two to three times a week. The medical officer of the LPD-Salzburg is happy about the unfit to drive. The driver’s license was temporarily withdrawn and no further driving was prohibited.
The driver is reported to the responsible district administration Salzburg-Umgebung.
