Airline United Airlines count on the renewal of regular lines in the following year from Newark to Prague. The company sells tickets for this route. According to the reservation system on the United Airlines website, airlines will resume flights from 27 May 2022. The direct flight will be operated daily with the aircraft Boeing 767-300ER. Return tickets from Prague to Newark cost from $ 551 (11962 crowns) in Basic Economy class and from $ 706 (15327 crowns) in Economy class. In business class, return tickets are available from $ 2564 (55664 crowns).

For Prague Airport this is a necessary message, because long-haul flights to the USA will be resumed and Prague will again have direct flights to New York. The actual resumption of flights will, of course, depend on the development of the epidemiological situation in the United States and in our country, as well as on the interest of passengers in these flights.
After a year and a half, the USA decided to relax the existing restrictions on the arrival of foreigners from the European Union and some other countries. This will make it possible to make tourist trips to the United States again. Passengers will need to prove their vaccination before boarding the aircraft and then submit a coronavirus test to the US authorities within three days of arrival. In the case of a negative result, there is no further restriction in the USA.
United Airlines started flights between Prague and Newark in June 2019. The route was operated daily during the validity of the summer flight schedule until the beginning of October 2019. It was historically the first ever United Airlines scheduled flight to the Czech Republic.
Direct flights to Newark can be used for both New York and other United Airlines destinations. The company has one of its hubs in Newark, from which it operates flights to destinations in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America.
