Too loud, too fast, too much drunk: numerous fines imposed in Salzburg
Police patrols reported numerous traffic and administrative violations on Friday and Saturday.
On the A10 near Kuchl, a patrol became aware of an obviously overloaded truck. The vehicle was weighed, resulting in an overload of almost 77 percent. The 7.5-ton vehicle weighed a total of more than 13 tons. The second axle alone showed an excess weight of around 92 percent. The truck had to be reloaded. The 28-year-old Polish driver and the registration owner from Vienna are reported.
Too loud: ads for excessive noise
Three motorcyclists were reported during noise measurements in Eugendorf and Hallwang. The permissible noise levels of their vehicles were exceeded by eight, twelve and 14 dB (A) respectively. The 55-year-old Upper Austrian driver of the loudest motorcycle had also installed a non-standard exhaust. The license plates were removed from him. All three must expect a special inspection of their vehicle.
Drank too much: Alcohol test showed 2.1 per mille
A particularly stubborn driver checked a civil patrol in the afternoon in the city of Salzburg at Giselaki. A 37-year-old Hungarian tourist reached 2.1 per thousand in the alcohol test. He said he drank two bottles of vodka the night before. The patrol put a locking stick on the parked car. A short time later, the man put the car into operation despite the locking stick. It only got a few meters. Because the car was parked obstructing the traffic, it was towed away. The man is shown several times.
Too fast: traffic violations in the city
A 24-year-old driver from Salzburg was measured in the early morning hours of September 25 in Bürgelsteinstrasse in Salzburg’s old town at 96 instead of the permitted 50 km / h. His alcohol test showed a value of 0.54 per mille. He was forbidden to continue his journey. A 59-year-old from Salzburg was measured on the A10 in the Salzburg Süd area at 120 instead of the permitted 80 km / h. His alcohol value was 1.1 per mille. He said he had about eight beers the day before. His driver’s license was removed.
Accident in Schallmoos: 26-year-old woman was injured
A 26-year-old woman from Flachgau was driving her car in Salzburg Schallmoos towards the city center at around 5 a.m. She drove her car against a tree next to the road, so that the vehicle was totaled. She herself suffered injuries of indefinite degree and was brought to the LKH by the ambulance. The woman told the police that she did not have a driver’s license and had been stopped by the police twice in the past few months. You had five or six beers and wanted to go to work.
