Russian cosmonauts in 2022 are likely to set a new record for the number of space walks from the International Space Station (ISS). It is reported by RIA News”, in which the station’s flight program turned out to be.
According to the agency, there are nine exits in the program: three in July, two in January, and one each in April, April, August and November.
So far, most of all Russian cosmonauts have gone into outer space in 2013 – six times. In total, from 2001 to 2021, the Russians left the ISS 58 times, including eight unscheduled exits.
Formerly Russian cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky and Peter Dubrov came out in open space for the second time in a week in order to continue work on the integration of the new module “Science” into the ISS.
Prior to that, it became known that “Science” hooked up to the American power supply system.
