Near Toulouse, an 84-year-old man dragged several meters for his bag
A violent snatching took place Friday in Levignac in the west of Toulouse. The victim is 84 years old.
Thieves are often unscrupulous but also not very brave when it comes to choosing their prey. This Friday morning, an 84-year-old man paid the price in Lévignac, in the west of Toulouse. It was 10 a.m. and he had just parked his vehicle. He got out of his car and closed it. It was at this point that a man approached him. Immediately he grabbed the bag the octogenarian was carrying over his shoulder.
But the victim did not let it go and held his bag firmly. Determined, the thief dragged the pensioner for several meters, causing him to fall. He eventually managed to appropriate the bag and run away, leaving his victim on the ground. Not long ago witnesses came to his aid. He suffered from bruises on his face.
An investigation was opened and charged to the gendarmes of the Léguevin brigade who tackle less clues to be heard about this violent aggression, in broad daylight in this small town of just over 2000 inhabitants.
