Ask for the program for your weekend! There is no shortage of activities and outings for this Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September 2021. Here is a small selection (not exhaustive) of our favorites to do in Toulouse and its surroundings.
# 1. The Fête Saint-Michel is back!
Yesterday, Friday September 24, Saint Michael’s Day has made its big comeback in the Zénith car park in Toulouse. A time canceled, the arrival of the fairgrounds was finally confirmed by the town hall at the end of last week. An egg of relaxation for the fairgrounds and also for the people of Toulouse who will be able to find their children’s souls for the time of duck fishing. Today, Saturday September 25, the funfair will open its doors to the public from 2 p.m. until midnight. Sunday will be from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

It is the unmissable event for enthusiasts of old vehicles. The Classic Auto-Moto Show returns this weekend for a 4e edition within the new Toulouse Exhibition Center: the MEETT. On the program: 150 exhibitors, first flights in a Ferrari car, an auction, an event exhibition “Mythical Sports” … To find out the prices and entry procedures, click on the following link: Toulouse.

# 3. Electro and opera evening
Two proposals for outings, two atmospheres. Saturday September 25, the Moontrip association is organizing an evening called “Transgression” at the Toulouse Arena Club, located 26 allée des Foulques at the Sesquières leisure center. Show by drag queens, artists from the electronic scene… For the occasion, the organizers have recreated “a dark and heterogeneous atmosphere of Berlin clubs”.

For the opening of the season from Capitole Theater, son director Christophe Ghristi introduced to the repertoire one of the lyrical works of the XIXe Italian century: Mona Lisa. Not recommended for children under 16, this opera will be performed on stage this Sunday, September 26, at 3 p.m. Prices and reservation on the website of the Ticketing.

# 4. Toulouse artists open their workshops
Saturday September 25, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday September 26 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., around a hundred artists and collectives are opening their workshops to you in 68 locations throughout the city and its surroundings. Baptized “Les Arts en Balade”, the event reinvents the urban roaming around the discovery of artists who, for a weekend, open the door of their workshop or their place of creation.
The opportunity to (re) discover painters, sculptors, photographers, engravers, ceramists … the list of participants and the workshops menu, by imagining your future ride.
# 5. Ceramics in all its forms
Saturday September 25 and Sunday September 26, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the contemporary ceramics market moved to the Allées François Verdier in Toulouse for its 7the editing. 50 ceramists from France and elsewhere will be present. This market, created by the association Terre et Terre, wants to be “a cultural, artistic and commercial event, in the image of the pink city that is Toulouse”.
# 6. Trottinate together against cancer
This is a first in Toulouse. Sunday September 26, the Great scooter race stands on the alleys Jean Jaurès. Open free of charge to children from 6 to 10 years old, the collection of bibs and capes is set at 9:30 am. Before the start of the various races, an opening ceremony is scheduled from 10 am, followed by the grand parade. .
Rather unusual, this event aims “to raise money in order to fight against pediatric cancers”. Although online registrations are closed, “last minute trotti-registration” is still possible. Meet at the foot of the imposing statue of Paul Riquet, “to trot together against cancer”. For the full program, Click here.
