Drunk driver drove in City-Train – several injured – Liechtenstein
VADUZ / BALZERS – In Vaduz, an intoxicated driver drove in a city train at the Rheinparkstadion on Saturday night. Several passengers of an unspecified degree were injured and taken to the surrounding hospitals. According to the state police, another accident also occurred in Balzers. There a driver who was presumably also drunk drove into a delivery van.
The city train turned from the southern parking area of the Rheinparkstadion at around 12:40 a.m. – where the “Country & BBQ” festival just ended its second evening – in a northerly direction into the Rheinstrasse, whereby the carriages were occupied by several passengers. The person who caused the accident fled from the scene of the accident without worrying about the damage. Property damage occurred to both vehicles, but fortunately no people were injured here.
