International Artists, Interdisciplinary Events and Special Exhibition for the Olympics 212 Photographs in Istanbul

Those who will visit the 4th edition of 212 Photography Istanbul include Levon Bis, Christian Tagliavini, Scarlett Hooft Graafland, Helena Blomqvist, Jonas Bendiksen, Esra Özdoğan, Hasan Deniz, JeeYoung Lee, Diana Artus, Rosa Muñoz, LIA, Thomas Albdorf and Modi. There are many international names.

Olympic Photos, Olympic Photo Selection Anatolia’s Tokyo 2020 Olympic Photos Selection can reflect the excitement of their very special cars and Mine Kasapoğlu’s lenses.

In the exhibition from the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection, Leyla, which also looks like the L. Borusan Contemporary Art Collection of Kalyon work in a system, is an exhibition that brings together an indispensable part of the contemporary art scene and can be seen from another world, curated by Leyla Ünsal, who is reconnected with nature and life. .

LIA: Coding Life, which will be held at Kalyon Kültür, is the first exhibition of the new exhibition audience at the festival. Considered one of the pioneers of early software and internet art, Austrian artist Lia focuses on digital art, installations and sound.

The Far/Nearby exhibition brings together a rich selection from Bilecik to Sri Lanka.

Pop-up Music Performances

One of the innovations in 212 Istanbul’s 2021 program is pop-up music education, which is included in the festival route as a show, with different textures. Performances in programs such as Kethüda Hamam and Yeldeğirmeni Sanat will take place.

Architecture and Photography with JOTUN

As in the editions within the scope of the festival’s event program, this year too, there will be a project with the future, two events to be held and a workshop:

Hasan Çalışlar and Metin Sergeant will discuss documenting the Mehmet Ali Bey Palankasi, the farm of artist and local Kutluğ Ataman in Erzincan. The second project, which will meet on the roads online, will discuss the architectural project area and the environment with photography, and Ömer Kapınak from the Gravity project, Orhan Kolukısa and Pamukkale University Architecture and Design Assoc. Dr. Burak Altınışık will come together.

Within the scope of the workshop, the story and photography of the Museum Gazhane will take place, together with the cultural and artistic contributions of Istanbul. Application Date Extended for 212 Photography Contest!

In parallel with the festival, the international organization International 212 Photography Contest has been extended to September 17, 2021, on the application training target and target, in order to develop future photography projects and their voices to be heard.
