Toulouse: the Covid-19 marks a decline in the schools of the department with 31 closed classes
The Covid-19 marks a significant decline in schools, colleges and high schools in Haute-Garonne, reports the health bulletin of the Toulouse rectorate of this Friday, September 24. However, 31 classes were closed, exclusively in schools.
The schools of Haute-Garonne, as at the academic level (the eight departments of Midi-Pyrénées), detected fewer positive cases for Covid-19 than the previous week, according to the health bulletin published this Friday, September 24 by the rectorate of Toulouse.
From 89 classes closed in the department, we have gone to 31 classes this week. Proof, if any, that the spread of the virus has been temporarily slowed down. These 31 closures relating exclusively to schools (1st degree), colleges and high schools have escaped a closure this week.
Adolescents are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated. However, the department of Gers deplores six classes closed in college this week.
On the other hand, a school establishment was closed in Haute-Garonne because of coronavirus, but the academic inspection does not give any details in its weekly bulletin. In total, out of 534,617 students in the Toulouse academy, 303 were tested positive, as were 14 national education personnel.
