Significant traffic jams were observed this Friday afternoon on the Toulouse ring road. Between the traffic at the end of the day and the weekend departures, a minor accident worsened the situation.
The traffic jams are particularly important this Friday afternoon around the Toulouse ring road. The reason is simple: in addition to the traditional end-of-day traffic jams and weekend departures, there was a minor accident which monopolized the attention of motorists.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., on the inner ring road, two vehicles collided between the Empalot and Langlade exits, south of Toulouse. Two minor injuries are to be deplored.
In addition to the slowdowns generated on this side of the ring road, the accident focused the attention of motorists traveling in the other direction, at the point of triggering a new collision. On the outer ring road as well, a car and a truck collided, again without gravity. But this accident had the consequence of severely degrading the flow of traffic in the area.
Traffic is therefore particularly difficult on the outer ring road throughout the west of Toulouse, on the inner ring road to the south of the city, as well as on the motorway from Tarbes.
