Friday evening will not only belong to Prague in many places, but to the whole of Czech – it will take place traditionally Night of Scientists, which will revive hundreds of science buildings that one cannot normally access. Colleges and universities, the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and the National Agricultural Museum in Prague will take part in the event in Prague. They prepare guided tours, lectures, workshops or experiments for visitors.
Heroes’ Day with an IRS technology show and a 13: MINUT roadshow

Have you ever wondered what the work of integrated rescue services looks like? You can find out on Saturday at the Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice. Program will be charged: demonstrations of heavy equipment and historic vehicles, running with a fire hose, first aid for children, rescue dog training, interventions of the airport special PANTHER, skydiving and more.
The event will also include a non-traditional roadshow BESIP 13: MINUTES. It will offer visitors an almost authentic experience of a serious traffic accident. In the interactive tent, visitors will be convinced that hurrying does not pay off. The exhibition will be supplemented by an educational part, which most often dispels myths about speed, and will also offer personal confessions of the perpetrators of accidents.
Wine Festivals: Pink May and Festival as Wine
- Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25, Holešovice Market and Rašínovo nábřeží
At the weekend, you can also go for wine and burčák, for two events. First – Pink May – is a moved tasting festival of rosé wines and clarets in Holešovice Market, where over 20 Czech winemakers will present themselves on Saturday. Second – A festival like wine – will take place throughout the weekend on Smíchovská náplavka, will introduce Czech and foreign winemakers and organize a burčák march.
