A 14-year-old girl from Hesperange, Luxembourg, a known mishap recounted by our colleagues from The essential, last Friday. Two days earlier, the high school student took the bus after school to go home, but the driver would have simply taken the wrong route. He would have taken the motorway and dropped off his passenger in a parking lot in… Thionville, in Moselle.

Panicked, the teenager contacted her mother, after the driver allegedly told her that it was her first day on the job and that he had not received any training. “I told him all the same that my daughter was a minor and that she could not leave the territory without authorization. He replied that I had not called the police if I was not happy, ”explains the mother of the young girl to the Luxembourg media.
The high school student finally got off the bus around 6.30pm, “a bit in the middle of nowhere”, according to her mother. It was recovered in Thionville by relatives. For its part, the company Vandivinit, which operates the line in question, said it had opened an internal investigation. Following the media coverage of this incident, the family of the teenager reportedly received an apology from Vandivinit.
