Sylvie Boulant: From MSC to IWG
Sylvie Boulant, who was Country Manager Switzerland of MSC Cruises between July 2015 and January 2019 and then supported the shipping company as Business Development Manager, left the company a few weeks ago. Boulant Nonne has been Sales Director Switzerland, Monaco & Gibraltar for the international CO working space provider IWG since April 2021.
“After six years in which she has achieved a great deal for MSC Cruises in Switzerland, Sylvie Boulant has unfortunately accepted an attractive offer outside the tourism industry and left the Swiss shipping company,” confirms the shipping company. “We really appreciated Sylvie Boulant as a colleague and we regret her departure”.
Sylvie Boulant, who at that time could already look back on a 15-year career at Air France KLM, was still working from the Basler office in the first few years of MSC – in 2015 she succeeded Carmen Doré, who in turn succeeded Paul Egli War. At the end of 2018, the MSC Switzerland office was relocated to a new flagship store in Zurich. Acquired in 2019 Pythagoras Nagos managing the Swiss business while Boulant takes care of business development; since January 1, 2020 is now Sebastian Selke am rudder.
Sylvie Boulant: The International Workplace Group (IWG) is an active provider of co-working and flexible workplace solutions in over 100 countries. The roots of the company form the well-known Regus brand, meanwhile other brands such as Spaces, No 18, Basepoint etc. belong to the holding company founded in 2016, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
At IWG, Boulant is now responsible for sales in Switzerland, Monaco and Gibraltar. Incidentally, the head of Switzerland is also a well-known name in tourism: Garry Gürtler was Country Manager Switzerland for Hertz for years before moving to Regus (now IWG).
In connection with the departure of Boulant, MSC Cruises is reaffirming its commitment to the Swiss home market and to investing in individual market support: “From pricing and country-specific marketing to a group department that issues individual offers together with Swiss partners to direct customer support committed sales professionals in the field will continue to manage the entire support from the country office in Zurich, ”the shipping company announced. MSC stands by Switzerland and its local market branch, which remains indispensable in addition to the global headquarters in Geneva.
