In the Infrastructure Equity division, all infrastructure competencies will be brought together. This asset class has been strong in recent years and plays a significant role in Swiss Life AM’s investment strategy. The line takes over Christoph Gisler as Head Infrastructure Equity. In this role he will also be a member of the Swiss Life AM executive board.
The securities business of the third-party business and the investment business for the company’s own insurance companies (Securities) will be merged in the new Securities division. This merger enables the increased use of synergies. The line will Daniel Berner, Head Securities. He is a member of the executive board of Swiss Life Asset Managers.

The real estate area remains unchanged and WILL be as before from Stefan Mächler, Group CIO Swiss Life.

Personnel changes

Michael Klose, previous CEO of Third Party Business (TPAM) and Marius Würgler, former Head of Sales & Marketing, left Swiss Life AM at the end of June 2021 as part of a professional reorientation. The successor to Würgler takes over Mark Fehlmann per October 1st. He worked for the DWS Group (formerly Deutsche Asset Management) for 14 years. He has been Head of European Insurance Coverage since 2017 and has also been in charge of the business for institutional clients in Switzerland since 2019. Before that, he held various management positions at the DWS Group. Fehlmann will report directly to Stefan Mächler and be a member of the Swiss Life AM management team.
