The weather has been improving in our territory in recent hours, which will culminate over the weekend. Above all, we have an extremely warm weekend ahead of us, which will be unusual for the current time of year.
The influx of cold air, which rises in our territory in the middle of this week, has stopped in the last hours in our territory and warmer air is beginning to penetrate into our area.
The influx of this warm air will peak during the coming weekend, when the temperature in Slovakia will reach unusually high in sunny weather.
Warm air and the effect of pressure level
In the course of the coming hours, the weather in our territory will be affected by the pressure ridge, which will reach us from the Mediterranean area.
Thanks to this, stable weather will prevail in our territory. During the weekend, the weather is mostly clear to partly cloudy. There will be very little clouds and no precipitation is expected.
In addition to the nice weather, we will be extremely warm. Very warm air from the southwest to the west will flow into our area along the edge of the pressure level in the middle above the Mediterranean.
During Saturday the temperature rises in our territory to +19 to +25 ° C on Sunday, when it should be the warmest in our territory, the temperature reaches +21 to +27 ° C. These temperatures are present unusual. Compared to the long-term normal, temperatures will be expected by 5 to 8 ° C higher than usual.
The weather will gradually go wrong
However, warm and stable weather did not last long in our territory. A relatively significant change already during Monday. On Monday night, the weather will begin to affect the crumbling occlusion front.
At the beginning of the week, clouds will gradually increase in our area and precipitation will be added. After a very warm and sunny weekend, a change awaits us in the form of cooling and precipitation.
