Innsbruck – After the great success last year, the Lumagica light festival is returning to Innsbruck this winter. Distributed on a circular path in the courtyard garden, visitors can again find over 300 light installations surprising. In addition to simple statues, there are also abstract, musical video projections and interactive light productions in their place in the park. Thematically, the contributions range from audience favorites from last year such as lion and deer to new, exotic additions that are supposed to lead participants on a trip around the world.
For a total of nine weeks, between November 5 and January 9, the light festival opens daily between 5.30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The president of the production company MK Illumination, Thomas Mark, expects a particularly strong crowd on a weekend in the run-up to Christmas. He recommends reserving tickets at short notice for guaranteed entry.
Ticket sales have recently started. Tickets are available on the organizer’s website. Tickets for adults cost 13 euros (Monday to Thursday) or 14 euros (Friday to Sunday). In addition, additional combination tickets are offered with the Innsbruck Card and a ticket with the Crystal Worlds. (TT)
