Human remains which will be those of a 25-year-old woman have been discovered by investigators. His ex-companion is accused of having killed him, before cutting up his body and abandoning it in the forest of Vendenheim, north of Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin). He must be indicted on Monday.

The police officers of the Interregional Direction of the Judicial Police (DIPJ) of Strasbourg have probably just shed light on the disappearance of a 25-year-old woman, mother of four young children. She had not had the slightest sign of life since December 23, says the daily The latest news from Alsace.

The latter, who is of Turkish origin, had recently been separated from her ex-companion. It was this 42-year-old man who visited her at her apartment in the Montagne-Verte district of Strasbourg, the day she disappeared. The latter would have surprised him with another man, which he would not have supported.

One of the children, 5, told police that an argument broke out when he met his mother. The ex-partner allegedly forced the young woman into the bathroom and closed the door. He would have emerged alone, explaining to the children that their mother was fine, before taking them to his ex-mother-in-law.

Traces of blood in the bathroom

Worried about not hearing from the 25-year-old again, her sister sounded the alarm. In the apartment, investigators did not find the mother’s body but found traces of blood in the bathroom. The children confirmed – with their words – that their mother was sleeping on the floor and her face was bleeding.

The investigation accelerated. The ex-companion was arrested this Saturday and was taken into custody. Already known to the police for acts of violence and threats to a spouse, he spoke of an altercation with his ex-partner on December 23, saying that he had not carried out a coup.

The body would have been moved in a trunk

One of the suspect’s friends was also taken into custody and questioned. The 48-year-old man told officials he helped the respondent carry a trunk in his, believing it to be cannabis resin. The latter has already been convicted in the past for drug trafficking. He told the police where he had taken the suspect.

The investigators of the DIPJ went to the place given this Monday morning, in the forest of Vendenheim. It is there that they found a dismembered body which would be that of the mother of the family. The trunk that would have been used to transport these human remains was discovered in the Ill. She had been thrown into the water.

A judicial investigation was opened on the count of “murder by spouse or ex-spouse”. The 42-year-old main suspect must be referred for indictment. His friend will also be brought before a judge and could be prosecuted for complicity.
