What was meant was the outsourcing of IT as well as telephone customer support and other back office work to India. Around 600 of the 1,800 back office positions at the two headquarters of Generali Switzerland in Adliswil and Nyon VD are at stake, it was said.
Several options examined
In the meantime, a lot has happened at Generali. The Pegasus project was officially announced. Various options have been examined in the board of directors and management, confirms Jean-Pierre Schmid, Head of Human Resources and member of the Generali Switzerland management team.
