Christophe Maleau swims two days for cancerous children in Marseille –

The young swimmer from Martinique Christophe Maleau, godfather of the 3rd edition of the sea swimming race named the MC Swim Challenge 2021. A challenge for the benefit of cancerous children in Marseille. He calls for donations.



The young swimmer Christophe Maleau is training in Marseille for the MC Swim Challenge this weekend (Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September 2021) at the Espace de Liberté in Grand Narbonne.

I swim for my mom, to show her that it is she who transmits her energy to me when she does everything to overcome the disease. I also swim for all those I meet who are fighting the same fight and who need our support. Let’s help them as soon as we can, let’s help science eradicate this scourge.

A new challenge

The MC SWIM CHALLENGE is in 2019 and 2020, 102,274.92 euros in donations for children with cancer and theirs.

A course, a myth, Marseille Cassis by swimming! Crossing the Calanques National Park.

This event has for but to mix 3 challenges:

– Sports: offer for the most seasoned swimmers an 18-kilometer challenge (MC18), an Olympic distance race of 10 kilometers (MC10) and the MC Relai Solidarity: 4 x 1250m (2H / 2F).

– Charitable: raise funds for associations fighting against pediatric cancer. All proceeds will be donated to children with cancer and their families! with a 2021 target: 60,000 euros.

– Environmental: awareness of environmental protection and being an eco-responsible event.

What will the money collected be used for?

The money collected in Christophe’s name will be fully donated to the MC Swim Challenge 2021 global donation fund.

Nearly 2,500 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in France

Several validated associations become to bring a little joy, support, comfort and reassurance to children and their families who must transform their lives to live at the rate of illness and hospital.

These associations also need support in return to help these families on a daily basis.

Our objective is therefore to raise the maximum amount of funds and to donate all the profits to these associations which work on a daily basis in the pediatric oncology and hematology service.
