1502 new coronavirus infections reported within 24 hours
In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) received 1502 new coronavirus infections within 24 hours on Friday. In addition, the BAG registered 15 new facilities and 59 hospital admissions.

The occupancy rate of the intensive care units in the hospitals is currently 75.1 percent. 23.9 percent of the available beds are occupied by Covid 19 patients.
A total of 9,860,100 vaccine doses had been delivered to the cantons and Liechtenstein by the evening before yesterday. This means that 10,312,971 cans were dispensed. 54.57 percent of the population are already fully vaccinated. So far, 6,129,834 have been issued certificates for fully vaccinated persons.
In the last 24 hours, 39,473 new corona tests were reported to the BAG. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 10,616,632 tests for Sars-CoV-2, the causative agent of the respiratory disease Covid-19, have been carried out in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as the BAG further announced. There were a total of 833,383 work-confirmed cases of infection with the coronavirus.
32,633 people who have so far been treated in hospital for a Covid 19 disease. The number of cases in connection with Covid 19 disease is believed to be 10,665.
13’089 people in isolation and 13’531 people in quarantine. No people who had returned from a risk country met in quarantine.
