On Monday, the representatives of Prague’s Horní Počernice removed Vilém Čáp (Počernice Jinak) from the position of deputy mayor. The dismissal of the first deputy mayor of Prague 20 was proposed by deputy Jana Hájková (for YES). According to her, the reason was the uneconomical management of the town hall.
The stork was responsible for, among other things, finance, property and culture. According to the mayor of Prague 20, Petr Měšťan (ODS with the support of independent candidates Horní Počernice), who is taking over them is now being decided.
“With regard to public procurement and the management of public funds (the first deputy mayor of Čáp) does not proceed in accordance with binding regulations, and in particular by failing to comply with internal methods and directives on public procurement,” Hájková said at a council meeting.
The proposed item for the reorganization of city councils was supported by 13 of the 25 representatives present. The city council thus has five new members. In December 2020, Jana Hájková (for YES) and Petr Růžička (Chances for Počernice) resigned as councilors. Both hold the position of representatives of Horní Počernice.
At that time, Hájková resigned from her position in the management of the city district due to the “non-transparency of the town hall”, as she said. Among other things, the deputy described the actions of councilors in connection with the awarded contract and drawing money from the city budget as problematic at the time. Undoubtedly, she did not mention specific mistakes.
The ODS coalition, the ANO movement, Počernice Jinak and Šance pro Počernice rule in Horní Počernice. The winner of the election, the Počernice Citizens’ Movement with the support of the Pirates, has been in opposition with the Together for Počernice movement since February. (CTK)
