A 51-year-old biker died on Tuesday morning on the A1 motorway. He would have been the victim of discomfort. The victim was a police officer in the constituency of Lens.
The facts occurred around 8:30 am this Tuesday, September 21, 2021, on the A1 motorway near Oignies, in the direction Paris-Lille. According to witnesses, the driver of a large-capacity motorcycle suddenly slowed down his pace and made a few zigzags before moving to the left and hitting the central reservation.
Quickly, the witnesses practiced a cardiac massage to the victim, then are relayed by the firefighters and the doctors on SMUR. But after long minutes, his death will be declared. Everything suggests that the biker was the victim of a heart attack. An autopsy should however be performed in the coming days.
The 51-year-old man was an official of the national police in Liévin, attached to the constituency of Lens. Member of the night brigade, the fifty-year-old was riding his personal motorcycle on Tuesday. He was on his way to a meeting at the Lille police station. The mayor of Liège, Laurent Dupore, paid tribute to him on his Facebook page.
