“The last instance, in which the government has indicated that more is possible from September 25, gives us a lot of hope and good courage to start the organization of Jumping Amsterdam. Of course we understand that we are taking a big risk, which is why we keep an eye on developments. However, we can’t wait to organize an equestrian event in 2022 as you are used to from us; bringing people together, enjoying top sport, full stands and a RAI Amsterdam filled with a fantastic atmosphere. We also notice that our sponsors give us a lot of confidence and are just as excited about it as we are. Our team is therefore currently fully committed to ensuring the success of the organization,” says Irene Verheul, sporting director of Jumping Amsterdam.

Strong comeback

“The decision to cancel Jumping Amsterdam last year was difficult for us, but for everyone’s health and from a financial point of view, we have no choice,” says Paul Riemens, CEO of the RAI in Amsterdam and chairman of the board of Jumping Amsterdam. “Two weeks ago, the KunstRAI was the first multi-day event since March 2020 in RAI Amsterdam. We can conclude that we can receive our customers, exhibitions and visitors in a safe and responsible manner. We are therefore focusing on a strong comeback from Jumping Amsterdam!”

Varied programme

During this 62nd edition, the varied program provides a track with international top sport, recreational sport, para dressage, various shows and entertainment. With 2,000m2 of stand space, it is again possible this year to shop in the promo village and eat and drink.
