Fidesz Budapest: Is there an opinion dictatorship in Budapest?
Mayor, please tell us what you think about the events of October 2006?
“Dear Mayor!
According to the news published in the press, only one of the six cinemas of the Budapest Capital Budapest property is willing to screen the political thriller ELK RTUK, which took place in October during the bloody events in Budapest in 2006. There is also only one room, at such a busy afternoon time.
We cannot think of this hearing other than that Budapest Film tries to prevent people from accessing the film for political reasons, and this evokes more legendary party-state times. Do you want to make a feature film, you want to make a famous international crew and it takes place in Budapest at one of the recent historical moments, why are they trying to hide it from the audience, abusing it by practicing public property?
To facilitate side-conversations, let’s record, there are 13 movies this week that are being screened at several cinemas on the network.
Mr. Mayor! It’s time to show who the gentleman is at City Hall: Ferenc Gyurcsány or you? Unfortunately, everyone knows that your announcements, an online summary, are written by Gyurcsány’s consultant, Zoltán J. Gál, and the people of the fallen, lying prime minister sit at the head of the most important companies in the capital.
You mostly spend your working time campaigning nationwide, but now you would have the opportunity to pay for the City Hall and prove that it is not the old socialist party still puppeting with the Hungarian opposition, it is not György Aczél’s disguised successors who . You could prove that democracy, freedom of speech, is not a single empty campaign slogan for you, but real content behind it.
But if we’re already here, now it’s the most topical possible: maybe, share with us, as a Democratic politician, what do you think of the events of October 2006? Voters are rightly curious about your previously unheard position on this. What would you like to Ferenc Gyurcsány in a similar situation? Or could you have suggested as a consultant then? In the name of freedom, democracy and European values, you too would have defeated peaceful demonstrators with your army, or »Sooner or later they get bored, go home« would you have addressed them with a sentence?
In the name of transparency, would you have also falsified polls and budget figures to win an election? To prevent power from being retained, would you have lied through the entire cycle of government even with the country on the brink of bankruptcy?
He wants to share his thoughts with us, if only because Ferenc Gyurcsány did all this with Hungary, who already proudly stated in the autumn of 2019 that »He will have a desk at City Hall«. No one had even guessed at the time that this table would be in the mayor’s office. Just as few thought it was realistic to dream of leading the country with him now, embracing the unbearable figures of the far right. We believe that these issues are straining us, but all democrats in the country.
Awaiting your reply:
