the San Marino GP told by the riders
Let’s face it. Riding the Ducati of Pecco Bagnaia, during the last laps of the San Marino Grand Prix, there was a small part of each of us. The weekend of # 63 had been too perfect up to that moment to accept lightly that a soft rear, damn soft, stood between the Turin-born Ducati rider and his second victory – in a row, moreover – in the MotoGP. We all pushed it a bit, towards the finish line and towards the attempt to keep open a world championship with transalpine sounds, welcoming the checkered flag as a sort of liberation.
Because let’s face it, compared to Aragon Fabio Quartararo he really tried them all to ruin Bagnaia’s Sunday. Broad shoulders in the initial riot among the Ducatis, infernal rhythm when its rear Medium began to assert its greater freshness, one not received desire to be satisfied of a second position when the angry barking of the Desmo got closer and closer: the Nice man left no stone unturned on the asphalt of Misano, once again showing a mental rockiness unknown to him only 12 months ago .

We ask you for an enormous effort: try to tell us what you felt in the last lap; (00:00 – 00:13)
-
What was the most difficult moment of the race? (00:14 – 00:24)
-
And the most beautiful one instead? While you were elbowing in the brawl or when you had a clear track? (00:25 – 00:39)
-
Your performance is growing: where do you feel you have improved the most since the beginning of the season? (00:40 – 00:58)
The comment of Danilo Petrucci

After Aragon you remembered KTM’s good performances at Misano, but all the RC16s struggled a lot this weekend. Have you given yourself an explanation? (00:00 – 00:45)

We will return to Misano in October. Do you think that the different temperatures can shuffle the cards or do you think that the values on the field on this track are well defined? (00:46 – 00:59)
On the other hand, it does not seem able to move away from a now pre-established plot and the Moto2 appears crystallized, series in this 2021 is witnessing the uncontested excessive power of the KTM Ajo team. The Kalex of Raul Fernandez and Remy Gardner have relentlessly weakened the resistance of the competition, laying the foundations for an intestinal fight that will surely characterize the final part of this season.

Another weekend, another comeback that sees you go much faster in the race than in qualifying. Have you given yourself an explanation for this difference? (00:00 – 00:46)

We will return to Misano in a few weeks, but at a different time of the year and with probably still different climatic conditions. Do you think this can help you in any way? (00:47 – 01:18)
