Located on the right bank of the Garonne in the Bastide district of Bordeaux, the tavern At Alriq program for more than 30 years of artists from all over the world, with a particular sensitivity for “World” music.

It’s not easy to make a name for yourself when your name is Schmitt and you are the son of a certain Dorado. The bet however succeeded brilliantly by the young Samson, in two discs and a multitude of concerts. With a talent that has not wavered over the years, the guitarist, native of Lorraine, proved to be not only an excellent representative of the “Eastern style” (listen to his “First waltz” …) and a formidable swashbuckler of the six-string, but also an excellent composer of small marvels of style.

Samson Schmitt multiplies projects and collaborations: a record of covers of music from cult films, such as “The Godfather”, a tribute album to Serge Gainsbourg, “Gainsb’Art” and concerts throughout Europe. The virtuoso guitarist stops in Bordeaux, accompanied by Camille Wolfrom on double bass and Yannis Constans on guitar.
