Gallup: 45% of Bulgarians say they will not be vaccinated – Bulgaria
About one-fifth of adult Bulgarians have already been fully vaccinated. Another one-fifth are not in more detail, but they say they will, some of them are probably postponing the vaccination after use. However, there are also 45% who have been vaccinated, the threads intend to do so. This includes data from a nationally representative Gallup International Balkan agency, conducted between September 2nd and 10th, with an average of 1,007 people on a face-to-face basis.
Moderately unwilling to be vaccinated with mostly young people and representatives of ghettoized and marginalized communities.
There are also about a tenth who are unable or unwilling to answer vaccination questions.
The rapporteurs in the national sample helped to determine which in the meantime several options apply to them personally. “I have been vaccinated with one dose of coronavirus vaccine,” say 5%. 19.2% (conditionally over a million Bulgarian adults) say they have been vaccinated with two doses.
21.5% admit that they have not been vaccinated, but will be vaccinated. In this group you can see that they got sick in the evening. If in the whole sample more than one third of the adults testify that they have contracted the disease, in the group of the answer “I have not been vaccinated, but I will do it” the delta on the survivors is higher – about two fifths. With regard to the researchers in this case, there is a valid hypothesis that part of the abandonment of vaccination is precisely the fact that many have survived the disease and, accordingly, are not in a hurry with vaccination or this is not on the agenda.
Sociological data include to get sick with more information than the official report. And if, for example, the percentage is experimentally opened not only to adults, but to all Bulgarians, it can be said that nearly 2.5 million have gone through the implementation, according to Gallup. And with asymptomatic cases, that number could be a more serious, noted study.
45.1% (conditionally nearly 2.5 million adult Bulgarians) choose the option “I have not been vaccinated and I will not be vaccinated against coronavirus”. Demographic permits are included if young people are better represented in this group, because they are vaccinated or introduced to the vaccinated groups. Representatives of marginalized communities, Roma and other groups at risk of social inequality are also present to a greater extent (and may be related to the above). Vaccination is higher (respectively, reluctance to vaccinate is lower) in the capital as well.
