Inter RAO is the only operator of electricity export and import in the Russian Federation.

In September, Belarus plans to import from Russia about 300 million kWh of electricity. At the same time, they added that they do not plan to purchase Russian electricity.
And what about BelNPP?
As a reminder, on July 12, the Ministry of Energy reported that the first power unit of the BelNPP was disconnected from the network by automatic generator protection. On July 16, the Ministry of Energy gave the first comment on the situation. But the reasons for the peculiarity were not named. Later, on July 23, the Ministry of Energy said that at the first power unit of the BelNPP, the revision and diagnostics of the turbine generator equipment is being carried out. They said that both Belarusian and Russian specialists were involved. It was also reported that “if it is necessary to warm up the equipment and then increase the power of the reactor plant, it is planned to connect the unit to the grid by mid-August.”
On August 19, the press service of the Ministry of Energy said that they could not start the first power unit of the BelNPP in mid-August. The specialists completed the audit of equipment and technological systems.
“The performed tests revealed the need to replace one of the elements of the turbine generator exciter. Corresponding work is being carried out with the involvement of specialists from the Russian manufacturer “, – reported in the telegram channel of the Ministry of Energy.
Since then, no official information has been received. How the work is progressing is unknown.
