UA dramatic accident occurred on Tuesday September 21, 2021 on the Yves Pollet-Villard via ferrata in La Clusaz. In the afternoon, shortly before 4 p.m., a 27-year-old woman fell to her death 150 meters into a scree.

According to the first elements, she was at the head of this group of five friends when she fell into the void. The investigation was entrusted to the Thônes gendarmerie brigade, supported by the Annecy PGHM, to understand the circumstances of his death.

Shocked, his friends were rushed to hospital

The victim, originally from Sarthe, had come on vacation with his friends in the Annecy region. Shocked, his four companions, were taken care of by the firefighters and transported to the Annecy Genevois hospital center (Change) to receive psychological help.

Hearings were scheduled for Wednesday, September 22, as well as an examination of the body. Climbers’ equipment has been seized and may be subject to analysis.
