“We bring the best talents to Austria and give them the opportunity to gain a foothold with our industrial partners” »Leadersnet
New management and new projects at “Austria connects worlds.
“Austria connects worlds” starts with a new management, consisting of Maria Schmidt-Iankova and Andreas Prenner, and firmly docked to the IV (Federation of Industrialists). During a lunch, the hot topic of shortage of skilled workers was taken up. Under the guidance of Andreas Bierwirth (Magenta), Federal Minister Margarete Schramböck, Marcus Ihlenfeld (woombikes) and Thomas Gindele (German Chamber of Commerce and Industry), who gave a brief overview of the situation of the demand for skilled workers in Germany, spoke about this problem. “The shortage of skilled workers now affects every area and does not stop at any industry,” said the discussants in unison.
“Cadre forge of the future”
With the IV, “Austria connects worlds” not only has a strong partner, but also university access. “Thanks to the strong network of our partner, we bring our projects ‘Next Generation – Talents for the Future’ and ‘Best Team in the world’ on the subject of a shortage of skilled workers into practice and specifically target education and universities with a focus on Southeast Europe,” said the association -President Gabi Spiegelfeld. “The best talents are brought to Austria and have the opportunity to gain a foothold with our industrial partners,” Spiegelfeld continued. The willingness of companies to get these talents on board is great. So woombikes has already taken on the first employee from the “Best Team in the world” project. (jw)
