We complain the tactics of the presidency of DAKE in ST` ELME and we inform you that we left the process of reorganization of the Board of Directors on 16/9/2021. We left with a sense of respect for our body and the role that the Board should play, but also for the colleagues who supported us and – rightly – insist on believing in the power of the collective struggle.

Colleagues, I have in the past objected to the operation of the union. But now the omissions on the part of the presidency are tragic. The representatives of DAKE want to offer enough time now in the reconstruction of the Board with the result that, when the colleagues need the physical support, to start the new school year with a dissolved union and due to the retirement of three colleagues as they sabotage the reconstruction and disarm the union also serves the anti-popular and anti-educational policy.

On 14/9, we were similarly called for its reconstruction, no action had been taken by the Bureau for that. There are some preconditions for reconstruction (there are no replacements for those who are leaving, electoral process practice, financial control because a fund is being handed over to the new presidency…). On 16/9, DAKE, in order to be able to replace the colleagues who retired from its ballot, brought colleague Laskaridou Pantelea as an ace up its sleeve (it was on the ballot of DAKE but it had changed union as it was organized in another ELME). The colleague has got organic in 2^The Ilioupoli High School (PYSDE Act 21 / 8-6-21) in the entire organic gap of 18 hours.

The masters of DAKE and PYSDE should explain to their colleagues that in one night and in opaque ways they give postings to serve their purposes. It is an offer for all colleagues who suffer in order to get a transfer or to fill a schedule following the transparency, evaluation and legal path. The number of objections to the nationwide infamous PYSDE AD Athens reinforces the doubts and shadows in the way the procedures are done.

So which colleagues are responsible for these “legal” procedures that the DAKE invoked in its announcement? Here is the responsibility of the majority of OLME that has not denounced these practices to date, perhaps because the majority is served by the techniques of customer unionism. We are waiting for “what position OLME will take on the issue”.

We also left this meeting because:

1. We have not been given the original minutes of the election from the elections of the union (December 2019), as we must see the order of the elected colleagues.
2. We were not given the Report of the Audit Committee (surprised by 2 colleagues 1 DAKE and 1 SYNEK) for the financial report of the association so far. We request financial control from the elected audit committee and delivery of the fund’s balance sheets to the new Board.
3. The union’s money is in the former president’s individual account (similar was the requirement by law to have a union account).
4. We have not been informed about whether there is a TIN of the union, that the strange obstruction of the former president brings a fine to the union.

No matter how much they try to make what they do “legitimate”, the reality is beyond them.

THIS IS ALSO OUR DIFFERENT COLLEAGUES. We do not give them our moral advantage – which the industry needs so much today to stand, but also the whole society.

The SYNEK faction also brings its own responsibilities with the Tolerance – Cooperation that shows in these processes and has not now reached a clear position, when it participates with surprises in the Audit Committee (which controls the finances).

As he understands, it was impossible for us to legitimize the prohibitions of these activities and our complaints with our departure and our further actions.

We ask:

In a transparent way to ensure the operation of the Board and to proceed as ELME in General Assembly immediately, in order to make decisions about the big issues that plague us and mainly on the burning issue of school autonomy and assessment.

We continue to fight and declare that we will face the degeneration of the club. We want strong and militant unions and not applause for the dominant policy that turns its back on the anti-labor anti-education attack we are receiving. Away from factorism and dealing with power.

From our position we will fight to acquire these physical characteristics.

Colleagues, with these well-known tricks from years, we do not miss the MAIN ISSUE which is the extent in practice of the evaluation ban, we always go by your side to inform you and strengthen our union with the fight we give.

The masks of the majority have long since fallen. On the other hand, the members of ASE respond with all our might to the anxiety of the colleagues who turn to us for information on the decisions of the industry as well as on the small and big problems that arise in schools.

Our complaint will be forwarded to OLME and we expect STD ELME, free from those who have condemned inaction, to find its way next to the rest of the union across the country, which really give a militant response to the reactionary evaluation and generally anti-educational policy.
