The corresponding decree No. 352 was signed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The document should accelerate the development of the southern structural-tectonic zone of the Pripyat trough.

“I still think that this is a sad moment when, after the discovery of promising fields in Belarus, we once produced over 8 million tons of oil. There is a sea of oil in Belarus,” the Belarusian leader said.
