Martina Bednarik is the new Head of Brand Management at Österreich Werbung
Vienna (A) As of October 1, 2021, Martina Bednarik (47) will take over the Brand Management department at Österreich Werbung (ÖW) from Michael Scheuch, who will take on a new professional role.
Bednarik convinced in the headhunter assessment, is a member of the management team and reports directly to the managing director Lisa Weddig.
Michael Scheuch has been in charge of brand management at ÖW for eleven years. He was responsible for the strategic brand management of the internationally successful brand “Urlaub in Österreich” and the communication, target group and media strategy. Scheuch takes into account new standards in the area of strategic alignment of communication and playout platforms as well as in the development of editorial working methods and digitization. Under his leadership, campaigns for Austria as a holiday destination were able to win 105 international and national awards. Michael Scheuch will dedicate himself to new professional tasks in the future.

As of October 1st, Martina Bednarik will take over the management of Brand Management at ÖW.
Bednarik has extensive experience in various marketing disciplines and in the implementation of large campaigns and in brand development and management. In her more than 20-year career, she was able to convince as a marketing and e-commerce manager, CRM specialist, marketing and brand strategist and as a communications all-rounder for top brands in Austria. In her last position, she heads the Marketing and Digital Commerce department at TUI Austria Holding as director and authorized signatory. Before that, she accompanied Austria’s mobile communications provider from start-up to group brand in various tours for more than 15 years and most recently was in charge of advertising and branding for tele.ring.
