Four men tried for major synthetic drug trafficking

The correctional court of Avignon (Vaucluse) judged this Friday in immediate appearance four men accused of drug trafficking. The case was postponed until October 22, 2021. One of the defendants was remanded in custody, report
Vaucluse news. The trial follows a massive seizure of narcotics by the Avignon Departmental Security at the homes of individuals.

The police had found there 3 kg of ketamine, 3.9 kg of amphetamines, 3,800 pills of ecstasy. One thousand two hundred stamps each soaked with a drop of LSD were also found. In another of the respondents living in Miramas (Bouches-du-Rhône), 330 grams of ketamine and 200 euros had been seized. The suspects were suspected of participating in one of the largest drug trafficking networks in the PACA region.

A big name in regional drug trafficking

The police were investigating for more than a year this organization specializing in the sale of synthetic drugs during techno parties, specifies Provence. The main respondent is known to be one of the biggest local drug traffickers. Two of the other defendants are accused of having sold the goods. The fourth would also be a reseller but also a consumer.
