In January this year, the installation work of the bicycle ramp on the Parkbrug started. He is now out of service. That is a message to the technical maintenance department, the lift will be repaired as soon as possible.”
To use it, there will be another bicycle ramp. The installation work started in January of this year, but the completion is not yet completed. This has to do with corona, among other things, says alderman Koen Kennis. “In addition, the bad weather with the heavy rain also caused delays. After that, the construction leave followed.” When will the ramp be finished? “Sometime this fall. I can’t be more specific about that.”
Before the ramp can be put into use, the subsoil must be finished, among other things. “Want it must be slip-free,” says Kennis. “The railings also have to be placed, painting and work on the lighting still have to be done.”
The design of the ramp is similar to that of the Park Bridge by Ney & Partners. The light steel structure to ramp the weight on the existing structure.
