Edenred Austria and mjam set foodprint
Strong partnership with Austria’s largest delivery service
Vienna (OTS) – Edenred, the leading provider of employee incentives in the form of digital gift cards, is known for creating sustainable synergies. The new partnership is also based entirely on this company philosophy. Edenred Austria is now cooperating with mjam, one of the largest joint ordering platforms for food and, since February, also new in food delivery. With this, both companies set a culinary milestone: Edenred customers benefit from an incomparable culinary offer and a practical ordering and delivery system.
Avoid the rumbling stomach, be spoiled for choice at mjam, decide on a favorite restaurant, put the dish of your choice in the shopping cart, select the Edenred card as a means of payment, send your order and shortly afterwards enjoy a balanced and tax-deductible lunch – whether in the office or in the home office. This is now made possible by the cooperation between Edenred Austria and mjam, one of Austria’s largest ordering platforms for food.
The finest culinary milestone
“I am very happy about this strong partnership, which is an absolute win-win situation for everyone involved – especially for our customers. This once again emphasizes our company philosophy ‘Connections enrich. Forever’. Edenred users can now also redeem their digital voucher cards online at all mjam partners and say enjoy a balanced lunch break ”, Edenred managing director Christoph Monschein.
“We are pleased that we can now offer our customers even more through this partnership. Edenred’s digital vouchers can be redeemed for meal delivery. Here, due to the pandemic, we continue to see growing demand, ”says mjam managing director Chloé Kayser.
Tailor-made services for the new world of work
The cooperation with mjam Spiegel has two main focuses of Edenred: “On the one hand, we are meeting the increased demand for food orders and deliveries caused by the corona pandemic,” says Monschein. According to mjam surveys, the ordering times have also changed. Many employees now have their lunch delivered directly to their home office or office and use mjam’s diverse lunch menu. Edenred and mjam offer a range of services adapted to the new world of work.
Big plus: companies can subsidize their employees’ lunch with up to eight euros per day tax-free. Not only employers and employees benefit from this. Because “A balanced lunch break has been proven to promote the well-being of employees in the workplace, their motivation and willingness to perform,” explains Monschein. At the same time, it also supports the local gastronomy.
Unparalleled offer for Edenred customers
In addition, Edenred is committed to expanding its range and promoting digitization.
In addition to the already existing 20,000 redemption points, Edenred now offers its customers an even larger network. Because this can now redeem your ticket restaurant and ticket service card online at all 4,000 partner restaurants and shops of mjam. Online payment with the Edenred card has been possible since July. With the current partnership, this milestone has been raised to a new level.
“We have given digitization a breath of fresh air since July with the option of online payment. In the course of our cooperation with mjam, users also benefit significantly from this convenience, ”says Monschein.
