Eccentric baseball fan Rank always present at Amsterdam Pirates
The love for baseball is great with 68-year-old Amsterdammer Lolke Rang. The baseball fan is present at every home game. He is also a regular at away games. For example, he sometimes takes the bike from Amsterdam to Neptune in Rotterdam.
“Baseball is like chess. If you look at it like a leek, it seems like nothing is happening. .

Rank doesn’t sit still
Most baseball fans sit quietly in the stands, but regularly change places during the games. And that has a reason. “I collect the balls from the home runs. Then I can see where the ball lands, because if you don’t know that, you won’t find it,” said Rang.
Holland Series
Amsterdam Pirates is trailing 2-1 against HCAW in the semifinals of the national championship. On Saturday, the best-of-five series resumes with a game in Bussum. Bet is a spot in the Holland Series in which Rotterdam-based Neptunus is the spot.
