The cost of fuel has traditionally changed by one kopeck.
The Belneftikhim concern made their decision “by the continuing growth of world oil quotations”: their average value since the beginning of August reached $ 73 per barrel, compared with January 2021, this figure increased by 33 percent.
“Prices have been increased by 14.7 percent since the beginning of the year,” the concern said.
The previous increase dates back to September 14, when prices also added one kopeck.
Before the first price hike in 2021, the old prices held for 85 days. In 2020, gasoline and diesel prices changed 16 times, in 2019 – 28 times.
