CHRONICLE AND COMMENT
Victor San Marino, within the friendly walls of the Acquaviva Stadium, only gets a draw against Valsanterno. The final result of the challenge, valid for the second day of the Italian championship of Excellence, is 1-1. To Franchini’s goal on a penalty kick for the host team in the 4 ‘of the first half, Thomas Rosti responds with a sensational right from distance for the biancazzurri in the 35’ of the second half.

Mister D’Amore confirmed the 4-3-3 already last Wednesday in the match won against Pietracuta in the Italian Cup. In the Pazzini gate; back four, from right to left, with Luvisi, De Queiroz, Mannarino and Rosti; three-man midfield with Albonetti, captain Barone and Pastorelli; in attack Prandelli central point supported by the outside Zabre and Pancotti. On the bench left-back Boccioletti, who forfeited shortly before the match, and the new signing Thomas Sapori, young midfielder former Santarcangelo, Marignanese Cattolica, Fermana and La Fiorita; out, however, Gaudenzi due to an ankle injury and Argenziano due to flu.

The match begins and, after 4 minutes, Rosti spreads out in the Senese area launched at the net. Referee Gallorini concedes a penalty kick to Valsanterno thus displeasing the San Marino player and her supporters. Franchini, from the 11-meter spot, swells the net without letting himself be hypnotized by Pazzini. Victor San Marino-Valsanterno 0-1 at 5 ‘of the first half.
At 8 ‘Franchini, not satisfied with having scored only one goal, tries to score his personal double, but his conclusion ends well away from the biancazzurra goal.
Nine minutes later Pazzini prevented Victor San Marino from doubling in this game with a great save for a corner on Sciuto’s free-kick from the edge.
At 22 ‘it is still the San Marino goalkeeper who becomes the protagonist by managing to remove the ball from Tumolo’s feet and moving it as far as possible from his penalty area.
Around 25 ‘the Victor San Marino begins to give the first signs of life and tries to equalize with Prandelli, but his shot ends only on the outside of the net.
A minute later another interesting action created by the men of Mr. D’Amore: Albonetti’s shot from distance, Vandelli blocks the ball without too many problems.
At 28 ‘new danger, however, put in place by Valsanterno: corner of Sciuto from the left and Mongardi conclude without hitting the goal defended by Pazzini.
At 37 ‘the coach of Victor San Marino already decides to play a game to dare a team: in fact, he takes Zabre off the field to grant Sapori his first presence in the blue-white jersey and daring a little more panache and imagination to the offensive maneuvers by Captain Barone and his companions.
Four minutes from the end of the first portion of the game, Sapori immediately enters the game by making a nice cross from the right, Prandelli stands out in the area and hits the crossbar. He, the rest of the team and the biancazzurri fans were ready to cheer for the equalizer, which unfortunately did not arrive.
In the third and last minute of recovery, a new attempt by Victor San Marino to find the equal path: Pancotti’s cross from the right and Prandelli’s header to succeed Vandelli, but the latter performs a real miracle by deflecting for a corner.
The first half ends with Valsanterno leading by a goal, but Victor San Marino still has another 45 minutes of play at his disposal to be able to turn the situation in his favor.

The recovery starts and the Sammarine club starts a great monologue at the Acquaviva Stadium for not immediately the first gives defeat in the league: on the 14 ‘long pass with captain Barone who finds Bardeggia free in the area which, in turn, goes aa it happens on the near post, Vandelli is not inattentive and rejects for a corner.
Three minutes later it’s Captain Barone’s turn to try to put the game back on track, but his right foot from outside the box ends up very high above the crossing.
The half hour is exceeded and the biancazzurri are very close to a draw: Bardeggia, a few steps from the goal, incredibly misses the appointment with the goal, not taking advantage of Prandelli’s great head shot on a free kick beaten by captain Barone.
Fortunately, in the 35th minute, the equal of Victor San Marino Rosti arrives, from outside the area, he exploits to perfection a restoration of the opposing defense and slips Vandelli with an amazing destroyed from outside the area. Victor San Marino-Valsanterno 1-1 when there are 10 minutes left in the game.
At 41 ‘captain Barone has the great opportunity to take the Biancazzurro team ahead, but Vandelli rejects the punishment from the edge with his fists.
At the third of the five minutes of injury time granted by the referee, the last chance for Victor San Marino to reach 2-1 definitively: an assist from Morelli and destroyed by Sapori, Vandelli blocks the ball with great certainty.

Triple whistle and the match ends: at the Acquaviva Stadium, it is 1-1 between Victor San Marino and Valsanterno; for captain Barone and his companions they are certainly two points lost more than one point gained after what was offered during this match.

But now, before diving back into the Italian championship of Excellence, head to the second round of the Coppa Italia Excellence and Promotion: on Wednesday evening the biancazzurri will in fact be involved in an away match in Fratta Terme against the local team (kick-off at 20.30) and will try in every way to win a success not only to continue their journey in the national cup but also to chase away the discontent after today’s internal draw.
