MotoGP San Marino, Bastianini: “I wanted the podium at all costs”

It was a fantastic race the one completed by Enea Bastianini in Misano. Starting from the 12th position, the Ducati Esponsorama rider has succeeded in a crazy comeback outperforming the likes of Joan Mir, Marc Marquez and Jack Miller. Enea, in “his” Misano managed to cross the finish line in third position behind Francesco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo going to take the first MotoGP podium in his rookie season.

Bastianini: “It was not budgeted”


“I worked hard this weekend together with the whole team to get the most out of it. – told Sky Sport MotoGP – The podium was not actually planned but I wanted it at all costs. Halfway through the race I was lapping very strong, I managed to stay attached to the front group, also passing Miller.
