At the same time, they emphasize that the demarcation of maritime zones must be done by peaceful means and in accordance with the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
They also reaffirm the conclusions of the European Councils for decisive action with all the means and options available to the EU. at its disposal, in order to protect its interests and those of its Member States, as well as that the cooperation of the EU. with Turkey is subject to the conditionality of its conduct, as described in European Council decisions.
The nine say no to the instrumentalization of the Immigration and the organized efforts of illegal entry of immigrants.
Earlier, in his statements, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis called on Turkey to establish aggressive behavior in Cyprus, Greece and the region as a whole, adding that the EU’s relations with Ankara are recorded in all European Council conclusions but now “The Mediterranean states are also sending their own message.”
