A summer full of demonstrations: this is how Amsterdam took to the streets
“Are you taking a demonstration this weekend?” we asked each other in the summer of corona year 2021. Tens of thousands of Amsterdammers revolted and completely shut down city traffic. Several times. In drag, with different flags, dancing or naked poodle. We even summer with the beautiful images that resulted.
‘Fuck the housing market’

The modern Star of David
Protesters are concerned, among other things, about the corona admission ticket that will soon be needed to visit a restaurant, event or museum. This is how a lot of people are locked out. By way of illustration, a number of protesters supplied a Star of David on their chest.

Breasts, balls and ‘cycling’
It’s still a nice sight, that annual Naked Bike Ride. On August 28, dozens of people got on their bikes for a demonstration against air pollution. And that must be clearly naked.
