IBM has announced a new multi-annual agreement with CaixaBank, in front of the leading financial finance groups in Spain, with the aim of enhancing the bank’s digital capabilities through the harmonization of the IBM Cloud for Financial Services (Financial Services).
It is noted that IBM has been a technology partner of CaixaBank for more than 50 years. Under this agreement, the Spanish financial group will launch the “CloudNow” project, which aims to develop core business applications, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of innovative vision for financial services with increased availability and resilience.
According to the announcement, through this agreement, IBM provides CaixaBank with a state-of-the-art technology platform of high standards in areas such as security, trust and privacy. IBM’s Hybrid Cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions will help the bank enhance its business model and improve its customer experience. In this context, CaixaBank will evaluate the latest technological solutions provided by IBM Cloud for Financial Services, the announcement concludes.
