1,000 valuable prizes and numerous cash prizes are intended to encourage those who are undecided to vaccinate
Vienna (OTS) – The daily newspaper ÖSTERREICH and its online portal oe24 are starting the first Austria-wide “vaccination lottery” this Sunday, September 19th. In this “lottery” all Austrians who have been vaccinated by October 15th or who have already died can win over 1,000 valuable material prizes and countless cash prizes.
Cars (including a VW Golf), trips (including valuable cruises), large-screen TVs and cell phones (including the latest iPhone) as well as numerous cash prizes of 1,000 euros will be raffled off to those willing to be vaccinated. In total, more than 1,000 valuable prizes are available right from the start.
Every Austrian who has already been vaccinated can play, but especially all those who will be vaccinated in the next four weeks, until October 15th. Daily focus campaigns of the “vaccination lottery” are intended to reward those who die in the current week with special prizes.
The “Vaccination Lottery” from AUSTRIA is based on international models: In Switzerland, the media maker Roger Schawinski has created a lot of vaccination dynamics with his “Vaccination Tombola”, while “Vaccination Jackpots” are meanwhile from media companies in the USA very successful, and in Burgenland Governor Doskozil has started a regional Burgenland vaccination lottery with great success.
The ÖSTERREICH and oe24 editors Wolfgang and Niki Fellner on their campaign: “We believe that the media have a special responsibility at this critical time. We are talking to the free edition of ÖSTERREICH and oe24, but also with our Sunday newspaper With valuable prizes such as the new VW Golf or the new iPhone, cruises and cash jackpots, the “vaccination lottery” not only offers an incentive to vaccinate through the prizes, but also daily editorial coverage as part of the vaccination lottery Reminding the undecided of the benefits of vaccination every morning for four weeks. “
Wolfgang and Niki Fellner on the idea of their “vaccination lottery”: “We believe that it is high time the vaccination rate in Austria died with private initiatives to increase it. We looked after the successful vaccination lotteries in Burgenland and Switzerland We hope that as many other media companies as possible will follow our example and that we will have a really broad movement for vaccination. “
