Foreigners can now get to Belarus not only through the Minsk-2 National Airport. In addition, I have changed the list of countries whose citizens are allowed “visa-free”.
Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 345 on September 14, which amends the rules for visa-free entry and exit of foreign citizens. The document will come into force in a month.
The decree allows visa-free entry not only through the Minsk airport, but also through the airports of regional centers. In addition, the list of countries whose citizens are allowed “visa-free” has changed.
Excluded from the list:
- People’s Republic of China,
Also excluded are Hong Kong and Macau (China considers them its territory) and the Order of Malta. Previously, they were marked “is not a state.”
The list of countries whose citizens are allowed visa-free entry to Belarus, including:
- SOUTH AFRICA,
- Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
For citizens of these countries “visa-free” is valid only with a valid visa to the EU or the Schengen zone and return tickets from Belarus.
