AS Monaco Cup for the Princess of Monaco
This Thursday, September 16 will take place the Princess of Monaco Cup, a charity golf tournament in which AS Monaco will participate.
Organized for the first time in 2019, the event will be held this year for the benefit of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and Fight Aids Monaco. New, and not least, the famous 19th hole of the course will be presented on the Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo. The opportunity for fans of the little white ball to test themselves on one of the most beautiful squares in the world.
Before playing the 19th hole on the Place du Casino from 7 p.m., teams of three players, including a celebrity, will compete in the Monte-Carlo Golf Club complex.
Among the celebrities, several golf stars will be present such as Sophie Sandolo, Nicolas Colsaerts and Lovelady Victoria, alongside former rugby player Dan Luger and former Manchester City defender Richard Dunne.
A charitable and united event
AS Monaco responded and will present a team by Anna Kolonchina, administrator of the Club, and will therefore participate with the help of the various charitable and solidarity projects of the Princess Charlene Foundation and Fight Aids such as:
- The “Maison de Vie” project in Carpentras, opened in 2004 as a place of respite and healing for people made vulnerable by HIV, which today accommodates more than 1,300 people.
- The Etafeni Day Care Center Trust in South Africa, a multi-purpose social center for children affected by AIDS from the Nyanga slum, Cape Town.
The draw for the teams, carried out this Wednesday evening at the Yacht Club de Monaco, appointed Alexandre Bilodeau, skier and Ambassador of the Princess Charlene Foundation, as a celebrity part of the AS Monaco team.
