Prague is regularly ranked at the top of all rankings and there is no server study abcFlora.com, according to which the Czech capital is a city with the best parks ever. She also left behind New York with its Central Park, parks in London or Moscow. The portal compiled the rankings on the basis of several criteria, including user reviews or what activity is in the parks, which resulted in a final rating on a ten-point scale.
And Prague came out best, scoring more than 10 points out of 10. The Czech capital offers a large number of parks, the most famous being Stromovka, Letná, Havlíčkovy or Riegrovy sady. In the evaluation of the parks alone, Prague received 4.59 out of 5, but nevertheless benefited from the fact that the city is not so crowded and the parks are therefore quiet. “Because (Prague) is known for its classical architecture, it seems that the natural side of the city should not be neglected either,” the server notes.
Moscow finished in second place with a better score of 4.67 out of 5 parks, but still busy, so it took 9.95 points out of 10 on the final scale. London is in third place with 9.26 points. On the other hand, Lima, the capital of Peru, was the worst, with a solid score but paying for overcrowding. Cape Town finished second and Athens third.
The abcFlora.com methodology is based on data from the TripAdvisor travel and tourism site, as well as data from Google maps. For TripAdvisorvisor, the authors of the ranking found out the number of parks and the share of inhabitants in one park as well as the ratings of individual places, in the case of Google they took into account user reviews.
