Prague is preparing to transform Jana Želivského Street, it should be friendlier and less noisy

One of the main arteries in Prague’s Žižkov – Jana Želivského Street – will undergo major revitalization in the coming years. It will also be related to the transformation of the Žižkov Freight Station complex.
The continuation of the preparations for the revitalization was approved by the Prague councilors. The street connects three important classes: Vinohradská, Olšanská and Koněvova. It runs around the future new district on the freight station grounds.
“The transformation of Jan Želivského Street is not a new idea. There are several different concepts and plans that aim to turn this important artery into a better place.
