This weekend, the Letňany Exhibition Center belongs to the next year’s Autoshow, which attracts exclusive exhibits and a rich accompanying program.

This year, two exhibitions met on the same date. This is good news for car enthusiasts, and worse for exhibitors. There are a limited number of cars, so you need to choose where to place them. At the Autoshow, they managed it bravely, and although the exhibition is smaller this year, it is still interesting.

It will not only offer classic static demonstrations of cars, but also an accompanying program and a special evening show, a show of racing cars and an autograph session with the drivers. On Saturday, Escape6 Meet 2021 takes place, ie the 6th year of the meeting of modified cars, so if you are attracted to modified cars, there will be many of them. In the outdoor area you can admire the masterful driving of the car in drift. And not only to admire from the outside, but you can also use Drift Taxi and take a ride. It’s nothing for weaker stomachs. It drifts throughout the exhibition, including drift races.

Saturday afternoon also belongs to the autograph session of Radek Kašpárek, a Michelin chef. At the same time, there will be a competition for two tickets to his Field restaurant in Prague.

Sunday’s program will focus on sports and super sports cars. A meeting of Porsche Classic Club Czech Republic members will also be held.

And what awaits you inside? Of course, interesting cars and hiding from possible rain. Among the most interesting cars you can see, for example, McLaren Senna, Ferrari, Bentley and the magnificent Rolls-Royce Phantom. You can’t sit in these cars, but just looking at them is worth it.

You can also see new cars from a more affordable price range, such as Kia, Suzuki and Nissan. And then one interesting car, the new Lada Niva. Although it is not at any Lady stand, it is at the end of the hall in the section dedicated to LPG. Police cars, namely the Škoda Kodiaq and Land Rover Discovery, are in the same place. It’s really interesting to literally reach for the stop belts and listen to something about the technology directly from the police officers who are on site. And if you want, they’ll let you go. A bit paradoxical is that there is a stand with radar detectors right next door.

Caravans are also on display in the same section. And you definitely don’t have to be afraid to go inside and sit there for a while. In fact, the gentleman who is in charge of them there is also tempting to do so. I was very interested in that, caravans always attracted me and I could climb really well here.

In the middle of the exhibition there are also Dakar specials. Although you won’t find a vehicle named “Beauty” that drove the famous rally here. It fell in Hungary, where it appeared over the roof at 150 km / h due to a technical defect. Tomáš Ouředníček, the driver who was present at the stand on Friday and hopefully in the next few days, will be happy to tell you about it. You may find out, for example, that he left fifteen half-axles at the Dakar Rally and how he drives in a non-flammable suit when he is 75 degrees in a car.
