Denmark will remove all restrictions on corona infection. This means that the Danes can live much as before the corona. It will take place on September 10.

Several restrictions will be removed as early as September 1. Then, among other things, nightclubs will reopen.

From 10 September, covid-19 will no longer be considered a socially critical disease and all restrictions will disappear, according to the Ministry of Health.

Magnus Heunicke is Denmark’s Minister of Health. He says it is possible due to high vaccination rates.

– The epidemic is under control. We have record high vaccination rates, Heunicke said in a press release on Friday.

He says the government is now removing measures that are no longer needed, as they have promised. He reminds that the pandemic is still there.

– Even though we are in a good place, the pandemic is not over, Heunicke says.

On Friday, Bent Høie was asked why Denmark is ahead. He then replied at the press conference that it is because several have been fully vaccinated.

In Denmark, almost 80 percent of the population has doses of vaccine.

Even if measures are now removed, corona passports will continue to be used in the country.

In Denmark, more than 300,000 cases of infection and more than 2,500 corona-related deaths have been registered under the corona.
